What We Do

Timbercycle specialises in on-site processing, transfer station recovery, and industrial-scale timber recycling across Victoria and South East Queensland. We focus on reducing landfill volumes and returning recovered materials to productive use. Where recycling pathways already exist, we deliver them at scale. Where pathways do not yet exist, we invest in research, development, and collaboration to improve outcomes over time.

Mission

To recover more timber waste, reduce landfill reliance, and deliver practical, scalable recycling solutions that create measurable outcomes.

Vision

To advance timber recycling systems that close the loop on timber waste — ensuring materials remain in productive use wherever possible.

Values

Practicality, transparency, safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement — delivering recovery performance at scale.

On-Site Timber & Green Waste Processing

Timbercycle works with transfer stations and recycling centres to recover timber and green waste from incoming material streams, where timber is often mixed with general construction and demolition waste.

On-site processing is designed to reduce the cost and inefficiency of moving bulky waste material long distances before it is assessed. By processing material where it is generated, Timbercycle delivers immediate volume reduction and improves recovery outcomes before landfill is considered.

This service supports both project-based and ongoing site operations and is commonly used to improve separation and reduce disposal requirements.

Key outcomes include:

  • Reduced transport requirements and handling costs

  • Faster processing and improved material flow

  • Increased recovery and diversion rates

  • Immediate volume reduction to minimise landfill reliance

Timbercycle’s on-site processing capability allows timber and green waste to be recovered as a resource, rather than treated as general waste.

Transfer Station Timber Recovery

Timbercycle works with transfer stations and recycling centres to recover timber and green waste from incoming material streams. Materials are assessed, separated, and processed to maximise reuse and recycling outcomes and significantly reduce landfill volumes.

This service supports councils and operators by improving diversion performance, reducing contamination, and recovering valuable timber materials for reuse and recycling. Timbercycle delivers practical, scalable recovery solutions designed for measurable results.

Treated & Processed Timber Solutions

Timbercycle manages treated, painted, laminated, and engineered timbers that are often excluded from standard recycling pathways. These materials require careful assessment, safe handling, and controlled processing due to treatment methods, contamination, or composite construction.

Where reuse or recycling is not immediately viable, Timbercycle focuses on responsible management, volume reduction, and ongoing development of improved recovery pathways. Our objective is to reduce landfill reliance year after year, even for materials traditionally considered difficult to recycle.

PART OF RECYCLE GROUP

Timbercycle operates within the broader Recycle Group, providing access to established infrastructure, logistics capability, and consistent material streams. This integrated ecosystem enables recycling solutions to move from concept into operational reality.
